Join us as we recount our journey, bouncing between different keys, and discovering the hidden gems along the way.

Key Largo: Gateway to Paradise
Our adventure begins in Key Largo, the northernmost and largest of the Florida Keys. Known as the “Diving Capital of the World,” Key Largo boasts an underwater paradise, with vibrant coral reefs and diverse marine life. Snorkeling and scuba diving enthusiasts will find themselves captivated by the crystal-clear waters and the opportunity to explore the famous John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park. Additionally, Key Largo offers a variety of waterfront restaurants, charming boutiques, and nature trails, making it a perfect destination for RV travelers seeking a mix of relaxation and adventure.

Marathon: A Haven of Tranquility
Continuing our journey south, we arrive in Marathon, a picturesque key nestled in the heart of the Florida Keys. With its stunning sunsets, pristine beaches, and abundant wildlife, Marathon is a true haven of tranquility. RV parks and campgrounds dot the landscape, providing a perfect base for outdoor enthusiasts to enjoy activities such as kayaking, paddleboarding, and fishing. Don’t miss the opportunity to visit the Turtle Hospital, where you can learn about the conservation efforts to protect these magnificent creatures. Unwind and soak up the laid-back atmosphere of Marathon, immersing yourself in the beauty of nature.

As we venture further southwest, we reach Sugarloaf Key, a hidden gem known for its scenic beauty and serene ambiance. Here, RV travelers can immerse themselves in the lush tropical landscape, with opportunities for birdwatching, hiking, and even exploring the nearby Great White Heron National Wildlife Refuge. Sugarloaf Key offers a peaceful respite from the bustling tourist crowds, allowing you to reconnect with nature and appreciate the simplicity of life.

Key West: The Ultimate Island Paradise
No trip to the Florida Keys would be complete without a visit to Key West, the southernmost key and a vibrant hub of culture and entertainment. Known for its lively nightlife, vibrant street performers, and charming historic architecture, Key West offers a unique blend of relaxation and excitement.
